Description

Sweet, cinnamon-spiced apple filling wrapped in flour tortillas, baked to perfection, and topped with caramel sauce. A delightful fusion dessert!


Ingredients

  • 8 flour tortillas

  • 2 cups apple pie filling

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Fill each tortilla with apple pie filling, roll, and place seam-side down in a baking dish.

  3. In a saucepan, melt butter, sugars, vanilla, and water. Simmer until thickened.

  4. Pour sauce over enchiladas, sprinkle with cinnamon, and bake for 25 minutes.
