Juicy chicken balls smothered in a creamy garlic butter sauce—perfect for dinner, parties, or a quick weeknight meal.

Ingredients

For the Chicken Balls:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground chicken

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp parsley (fresh or dried)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken Balls:

    • In a bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, Parmesan, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper.

    • Shape into 1-inch balls and chill for 15 minutes.

  2. Cook the Chicken Balls:

    • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken balls for 4-5 minutes, turning until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.

  3. Make the Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

    • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

    • Stir in lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

  4. Combine:

    • Add chicken balls back to the skillet, coating them in the sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  5. Serve:

    • Garnish with parsley and Parmesan. Serve hot with rice, pasta, or as an appetizer.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes or honey to the sauce.

  • Use ground chicken thighs for juicier balls.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
